2025 Events

Unless otherwise indicated, most programs are members only.  If you would like to get to know us, you can attend a members event as a guest. To do so, just email the club at [email protected] or send a message using the Contact form.​

Fri., March 7, rain date Fri., Mar. 14, Tour of Smith College Botanic Garden Bulb Show, Northampton, Massachusetts, followed by lunch in the area.

Thurs., April 25, 10 am, rain date April 26.  Gardening Above Ground. Master Gardener Jamie Burgess will demonstrate how to get the most from your raised beds and containers.  Lunch in the area follows.  Friends and guests welcome.

Sat., May 17, 8 am to 12 noon, Historical Society, Annual Plant and Bake Sale.  This is our annual fund raiser and is an “all hands” event.  Members provide flower and veggie packs from their greenhouses, and perennials from their own gardens.

Wed., June 4, rain date June 5, 9 am to car pool, or 11 am meet at the garden.  Tour of Elizabeth Park Rose Garden, Hartford, followed by lunch at the Eliza Pond House. Guests are welcome.

Wed., July 16, 9 am to carpool, or 11 am at garden. Visit to the Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory, South Deerfield, Massachusetts, followed by lunch in the area.

Thurs., Aug. 7, 7 pm, Senior Center.  ***Cancelled*** Free and the public invited.  Presentation: Hydrangeas, the Magic of Rebloomers, with Lorraine Ballato.

Fri., Sep. 19, rain date Sat., Sep. 20, 4 pm.  Plant swap followed by social hour.
 
Wed., October 15, 11 am., St. Stephen’s, Annual Meeting and Pot Luck Luncheon. The agenda includes election of officers and committee reassignments.

Mon., Nov. 24, 11 am, Grange. The Garden Club creates some 100 Holiday Arrangements for the Food Bank.  Lunch on site follows.

Wed., December 3, 11 am, local restaurant TBD.  Holiday Luncheon. The club brings individual donations to the food and fuel banks, and has a silent auction and gift swap.
